Jonathan Rollins is back – heading out on a Swedish tour with new solo show “Problematic Dad”

Following his first Swedish tour, comedian Jonathan Rollins is back with the brand-new solo show “Problematic Dad”. Starting in Uppsala on October 9, he will visit ten Swedish cities before wrapping up the tour at Scalateatern in Stockholm on January 16.

In his new solo show “Problematic Dad”, Jonathan Rollins explores the contrasts between his American upbringing and life as a father in Sweden. With his energetic stage presence and sharp connection with the audience, he shares what it’s like for a guy from “the hood” to try to raise kids approaching their teenage years in one of the world’s most progressive countries.

His ambition is to be a modern, enlightened parent, but Jonathan soon realizes that leaving old instincts behind isn’t quite that simple. Through culture clashes, schoolyard politics, and the sometimes uncomfortable milestones of family life, he finds himself asking: Am I really cut out for this – and is this country slowly breaking me?

With brutal honesty and plenty of relatable moments, “Problematic Dad” takes on the chaos of parenthood and the culture clashes that arise when two completely different worlds collide.
